Uwharrie Bank offers secure access to your bank accounts via Online Banking and Mobile Banking options. If you have already enabled access you can request to delete this access by following the steps noted below.
If you would like to request deletion of an online/mobile banking account and all related data, simply send an email request to [email protected]. Please type “Delete Online/Mobile Account” in the subject line and note within the email a good phone number where we can reach you. A Uwharrie Bank digital customer service agent will be in touch to confirm your request.
Upon confirmation of your request, Uwharrie Bank will delete your access to online banking, mobile banking and all associated data specific to our digital and internet banking system. This data will no longer be accessible or available to any party. Your bank accounts and transaction history will remain unaffected as long as your accounts remain open.
